COMPUTER SCIENCE LAB:

The Computer Science department was established in the academic year 1993-94 with an initial provision of 10 systems. At present 65 computers systems are there to meet the requirements of MSCs and MPCs, B.Com (Regulars), B.Com (Computer Applications) and B.B.A courses. Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) method is used for Computer maintenance. Protection against voltage fluctuations is ensured through UPS.

• The department connects with students via E-mail, college website, Google classrooms and social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, You tube, Linked in.
•  On line classes and google forms were used to conduct exams.
•  Department activities over the years include conducting awareness and training sessions for staff (teaching and non-teaching).
• Computer Department provide support for college activities as and when required. Computers with internet facility are provided to students for their Project work, seminars, presentations and training programs.
• Upskill courses in Power Bi, Excel-R, Basic computer skills and add-on courses are conducted for students.
• Computer systems with LAN and Wi-Fi network are available.
•  All Essential Academic software like latest versions of Windows OS, MS office, Dev C and C++, JAVA, Tally, Python, R programming, Visual Studio.
•  Students can update their subject knowledge using relevant software tools using computer lab.
•  Students are encouraged to give seminar presentations on computer-related topics to enhance their subject knowledge.
• Academic Projects for final year B.Com , B.B.A and B.Sc. students are taken up.
• Department helps staff in computer education and guides them in Trouble Shooting (resolving technical Aspects).
•  The Department since inception is involved in various computer based activities of the college.
• UG Computer Practicals .
• Google Excel sheets.
• Invitation letters/cards for various college events.

Power BI:

Power BI [Business Intelligence] it enables to Visualize and analyses the data in a
way that makes it easier to identity trends patterns. This makes decision makers to
base their choices accurate. Topics covered were power BI view, power query,
power pivot and power BI service.

It was 60 hours programmer and practical sessions.

Advanced Excel:
The course improves the analytical series and perform calculations that boost
productivity. It helps to turn piles of data into helpful graphics and charts.
